A walkthrough of all 7 stars of Stage 1 of Mario on An Saoire 64, Palm Harbour, completed entirely savestateless.

The stars are at these times:

(1-3) 2:10- Tropical Koopa Race

(1-4) 3:25- The Sewer System

(1-6) 4:18- The Tower's Top

Mario on An Saoire 64 is a SM64 hack by Brodute. I did use save states to initially explore the levels, train for the more difficult jumps, and at the loading screen for my attempts, but besides that the stars are completed 100% without save states.

Comments- A fun little first level. I totally forget about the red coin next to the start, but I added an annotation to the video to skip past me just sitting there trying to figure out where the 8th coin is  :)

2 Mario on An Saoire 64 - (2) Carraig Beach [No Save States]

Comments- Another fun level. After practicing, I was able to shoot down klepto on my first try  :) 

I should have gotten the first coin last so I would only have to climb that tower once, but ah well.

Comments- Initially, I for some reason just could not find the red coin behind the warp.. whereas the star in the tree is one of the first things I ran into incidentally. My exploring skills need some work, it seems! Overall a very fun stage, great music too.

Comments- This level was pretty disorienting for a while, until after a while everything starts to make sense. The ? signs in the sewer apparently mean "very nearby," and I initially guessed that they meant "guess the direction," but once I figured it out it was easy enough.

Comments- This level is one where staying in the level makes it much easier, since the gates stay open and you keep your coins, etc.  That would also make the videos be a total mess, though, so I re-enter the level each time, even though it makes them a little longer. Overall, a fun level; definitely the biggest of the hack so far!

Comments- This being the first time I have died on a red coin mission, it took me a few seconds to remember that I could just keep going from where I left off! Which was pretty nice, considering these coins stars were particularly tedious when not done alongside the other stars. With 0 extra lives the pressure was still on, though :)

Comments- For the last two levels I do not re-enter the stage for each star, since it makes the red and 100 coins so much easier. Below are the timestamps to the 3 red coins in the other stars- for star 2 and 3 I shoud have gotten 2 more coins but didn't, so I just went back to them in the red coin run.

Comments- Like last level, I did not leave the level and just got the red+100 coins as I went along- it overall makes it much shorter, and I put the red coin timestamps for anyone trying to find one. Besides that, on my first attempt of star 5 I flew into and got star 3 instead, which was kind of silly since I needed to go down the star 3 path to get the red coin over there anyways.. ah well. As the last stage of the game, I thought it was a pretty fun one.

9 Mario on An Saoire 64- Hidden Rainbow Stars [No Save States]

A walkthrough of all 9 Hidden Rainbow Stars from Mario on An Saoire 64, completed entirely savestateless.

The stars are at these times:

0:00- Majestic Mountains 8 Blue Coins

1:08- Majestic Mountains 25 seconds star.

1:48- Overworld Cannon + MIPS star

2:42- Bad Ending Star

4:15- Good Ending Wiggler Star + Toad + 8 Blue Coins Stars (Toad @6:20)

8:37- Little Japan 100 coin star.

Comments- I only included getting MIPS once, so technically there are only 8 stars in this video, but just go get MIPS a second time for the 9th star.

I accidentally deleted my videos of getting these, so I went back and redid them. Because of that the star counts are messed up and some of the cannons are already open, but I still show how to do everything. Hopefully this video is helpful, since some of there were hard to find, and I had Brodute in my stream helping me find a lot of them. 

Overall this hack was really awesome and I look forward to seeing more like it from Brodute!
